YUM. These are so good and so perfect for this time of year. I got the recipe from My Kitchen Cafe, but I did change it a little bit. I didn't have ground cloves or pumpkin pie spice, so instead of using just regular canned pumpkin like the recipe calls for, I used canned pumpkin pie mix. If you want the recipe, check out her blog or our family cooking blog here. Oh, and by the way... Jon told me that he HATES pumpkin stuff... pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie... guess who ate three of these within 10 minutes? Jon.

Ok seriously... why was a plate of these not delivered to my house???! HAHAHA jk But now I need to run to the kitchen and bake. They look Dee-lish!
I dunno if those have jam in them, but the ones I tried had apricot jam and cream cheese in the middle-probably just the same recipie though! Happy holidays AMY
In the middle is just a mixture of cream cheese and powdered sugar, I made it into a log, froze it for about an hour, cut into pieces and then put it in the middle. I will have to try jam! yum, thanks Rebecca!
Ha - that's funny about your husband scarfing them down. And brilliant idea to use canned pumpkin pie mix!

Okay, I'm giving you a year to do the "Montana-thing" but then Jon really needs relocate out here to Olympia. In fact, he can switch to the Brown-side since their ground shipping headquarters is just down the street! You can build a house on the lot behind ours!! Yeah! And then you can make me pumpkin muffins every day... mmmmm... pumpkin...mmmmmm.... muffins...
