WHOA! Who knew?
Who knew... I could sew more than a pillowcase? Well, if you were to say me a couple of months ago, I would have laughed at you (my mom would have laughed at you too). But, last night, I found a super easy burb cloth pattern from Nap Time Crafts and the idea for the frayed edges from Homemade By Jill. Two of my FAVORITE blogs. I was so impressed with myself.. seriously. Last night I even went and bought my own thread (after calling my mom a couple of times on what types), material, and some batting. Our neighbor is having a baby boy, and I'm waiting to find out from a couple of friends what they're having so I can use this cute boy grasshopper material or get some cute girly material. I know Jon is going to be impressed. I'm so excited to do more projects with my new best friend, sewing machine.

You crazy homemaking fiend, you! Look at you! Sewing! I remember you telling me you didn't have the patience for it... and now look at you. Live free and sew, baby!!
