Trip To Utah, Charlie and Easton's Baptism and Abcde's Baby Blessing

May 28th-June 6th 2013

WOW! What a FUN and exciting week. The week flew by. We had so much fun visiting family. We wish we could have stayed for a month. All of the cousins got along so well, it was so hard to leave. We spent the first part of the week at Ryan and Dakota's where we played and played and swam and swam! There was no time for sleep it seemed. On Saturday, Charlie and Easton were baptized by their dads. It was such an amazing experience. I was so proud of my wonderful nephews and equally as proud of their dads, my big brothers, being fantastic dads. Then Abcde was blessed and she couldn't look more beautiful in her dress. I was so excited for my youngest brother and his family as well. It was such a great weekend. I even went and hung out with "the guys" my four brothers and my dad. Dad took us out to eat and we reminisced about the old fun times when we were younger, sounds crazy, but we laughed so dang hard the whole night! I spent the last half of the week at Mike and Shawna's house, where Mike helped prep me for my big triathlon race on the 8th. Mike fixed up an older road bike for me! I about died when I saw it!! It was so beautiful I got teary eyed. I'm so in love with it! Thanks Mike! Thanks everyone for all the awesome memories and great moments together, I'm so glad I have such wonderful brothers that married such wonderful wives so that I'm blessed to have FOUR great sisters, and that my boys have lots of amazing cousins to be around whenever we're together. I thought it was going to be so stressful without having Jon with me, but I think I only saw the boys when they were hungry or when it was bedtime. They couldn't stop playing with all their cousins. It was a blast.

We drove down to Idaho to stay with Jon's cousin, James and his wife Melissa, where we were so lucky to babysit baby Ellie! Jacob kept calling her "sweetheart" and saying things like... "Mom, she just needs to sit and cuddle with me." I was melting over how much he loved and wanted to help with her. I was making the boys dinner and she was kind of fussing a little bit, as I was about to walk over to see what was going on, there was Jacob... giving her the pacifier and making sounds to her to calm her down. It did the trick, what a champ. Thanks James and Melissa! We loved seeing you!
Watching movies in the theater room on the big screen.

We loved the pool time!

Swimming in the pool with Uncle Ryan!

Grandma Jo made these super cool towel ponchos for when we got out of Ryan's pool. She obviously didn't think I needed one....

Congrats to the newest member in the family! Baby Abcde!
Before the blessing, Traci asked me to take a couple pictures of baby Abcde in her beautiful dress. I jumped on the opportunity! Look at this beautiful angel! I love her!
Buddies! Ian, Brady, and Jackson. They hung out here for so long playing together!

The cousin campout! Jacob stayed the entire night in the tent with Uncle Jon-Jon. While Ian and I slept in the house!

S'mores... yummy... but way too sticky for Jacob- I didn't mind!

BB Gun target practice with Uncle Eric!

BFF- these two were together the entire time. I loved it!

We went on a family hike to Battle Creek Falls, it was beautiful and so fun!

Taking drinks from Uncle Mike's pack.

While we were on our hike, I heard a familiar voice call out my name... I look back and there's Angee with her scouts and JJ! What a treat! We had just seen them the night before, which was so much fun, but it was such a great surprise to see them again.

Hiking buddies! Cameron and Ian. :)

We made it to the falls!

All the cousins that were able to stay longer, from left to right: Ian, Jacob, Cooper, Brandon, Cameron, Jackson, Cody, Brooklyn, Charlie, Brady, Easton, and Aubrey
