Yesterday we took the 2 1/2 hour trip to my grandparent's house for the day in Eugene, OR! It was so much fun! Jacob and Ian did fantastic. There wasn't a breakdown or fit! Jacob even ate his food!!!!! My Grandma and Grandpa Redford had a little car game that Jacob, Grandpa, and Jon played with for a while. I had to keep holding Ian back because he was trying to play Godzilla and making Jacob mad. We walked around the garden, played on the swing, smelled lots of flowers, laughed (a lot!), and gave lots of hugs. It was so nice to see them again and I'm so glad we live so close now.
At first Jacob was pretty shy and didn't want to go inside the house, but after about 5 minutes, Grandpa brought out some wafer cookies and Jacob immediately ran over and said, "Thanks Grandpa!!!!" And from then on they were best buds.

| Jon had a huge craving for DQ so right before we got to my grandparent's house, we stopped and Jacob got a cone. Like father... like son! |
