Last Tuesday I was on my way to the Craft/Cooking Enrichment group and on the way, out of the corner of my eye I spotted this play set... except I think my deal glasses were on, because there was a little sign that said "FREE" on it! Of course I flipped a U-Turn as soon as I could and knew I needed to check this out. I thought that it might be missing pieces or was broken, but to my surprise it was in perfect shape, just needed a bunch of cleaning. The family had outgrown it, their youngest was 10 and hadn't been interested in it for a while.
I called Jon and literally BEGGED him to let me bring it home. The guy was even willing to drive it to our place (which was probably about 2 miles). After much begging, Jon said OK, and I it was on its way over! I even made it to the craft group and made some super cute Easter decorations too!
I spent a couple of hours yesterday in the beautiful sunshine scrubbing and watering down this thing, then Jon came out after work and helped me put it together. Jacob loves it, and the neighbor boy even came over to play for a couple of hours and I haven't heard Jacob laugh that much in a long time.

Very cool! What a great find! And free?!?! I can't believe you even had to ask Jon--free makes it an automatic YES!!! (except when it comes to puppies...)
Did you use Simple Green? I hear tales that it is environmentally friendly (read: will not kill your grass) and will remove mildew/moss nicely while leaving a refreshing, simply green scent.
Love it!! What a great find! :)
