Easter Weekend

On Saturday, Jon's family came to visit and take us to the Portland Zoo. We had so much fun. We were there a good three hours before Jacob couldn't handle it anymore. The weather was amazing! Once we got in the car to come home Jacob fell asleep and slept the rest of the way home. The traffic wasn't the best, but it allowed more napping time for the boys! It is always great to see family, even if it's for part of a day! Thanks for coming! We enjoyed being with you all.

This is right before we went to the zoo! Somehow... Ian has a black eye (left eye)
I have no idea how this kid got it! But, he is a climber and is pulling himself up on everything!

Tide pools, hooray!

This Sea Lion was so much fun. He kept swimming and flipping for everyone.

Grandma Becki, Grandpa Thad, and Ian

Grandpa Thad was showing Ian all the animals. Every time Ian would see one,
he'd ooooo! and Aaaaaah!! It was so funny.

At lunch, Ian was our table entertainment. Stealing every one's food while at it too!

Jacob waving to the animals.

Jacob and Mi-Mi at the orangutan exhibit.
My little monkey! He's climbing on top of everything.

My favorite! The giraffes. Jacob was dog tired by this point and not willing to cooperate
with anyone.

Ian loves the camera. Especially when I'm down low enough for him to reach!

Decorating Eggs!

Along with Ian's first black eye, Jacob got his first bloody nose! I didn't
get a picture... I had my hands full... of blood. Our neighbors have an awesome
jumpy house and the kids bashed faces, resulting in a bonked head and a bloody nose!

Every time Jacob got off the slide, he ran over to rub
Ian's head...maybe a good luck charm?

Easter loot.

Ian helping the "Easter Bunny" set up the baskets and hide eggs.

The golden egg! Each year we hide the golden egg and a silver egg.

And... you get a dollar!!
