Conversation this afternoon....

This afternoon Jon called me up to let me know that he had been officially offered a job in Kalispell, Montana working as a service manager for FedEx Ground! Jon interviewed a couple of weeks ago with the head manager there, but we were waiting for the official interview with the regional manager to discuss all of the OFFICIAL stuff. I'm really nervous! Nervous... yet super excited. This is our first time really moving away. I've been in Moses Lake since 5th grade and Jon has moved back and forth between here and other places his entire life. ISN'T THAT CRAZY!? We went to Montana last weekend to look at the neighborhoods and rentals. We haven't found a rental yet, but Jon is going over the first weekend of October to find something. FedEx has offered to pay for a hotel for him for a week in order to find a place. Thank goodness! We were really stressed about finances and everything, but we feel really good about moving and really blessed that things have really worked out for us. This is Jon's dream to live in Montana, it is really close to where the boys go on their yearly camping/hiking trip. There are so many trees especially compared to Moses Lake! It will be a big change for us, but we're really looking forward to the opportunity!
