And still kickin.

So, I had a super creative idea on what to do for this post and the more I thought about it the longer it was taking me to plan it out... so I just decided to find one picture of Jon and I that describes the five years we've spent together and this is what I came up with. CRAZY. Jon doesn't like people to see this picture very often... I think mostly because he looks like he's from the band KISS. But, I think it's hillarious. We've done so much in the past five years it seems like we've been married for two. Various jobs (butcher shop, wal-mart, ect.), school (Community college to University), to having a kido (every time I say we have a kid, Jon baaaa's like a goat... weird? No, that's my life). Full of love and excitement. I do have to admit that we've had our ups and downs, like everyone else, but I wouldn't trade any of it for anything. We've been so blessed and can't wait for the next chapters in our lives together.
We celebrated our fifth year anniversary the night before our anniversary. My mom volunteered to watch Jacob for us and we went out to eat and Michael's on the Lake! Woo hoo! And, I actually ordered dessert. We NEVER order dessert. I got a banana and chocolate chip bread pudding. It came with a couple of scoops of ice cream on the side. YUM. I was very very surprised at how delicious it was. Thanks mom and dad!!
The next day we celebrated AGAIN with a trip to the biiiiig city!! Wenatchee. Jon's dad and step-mom so graciously wanted to take Jacob for the day so that we could get out and go shopping. Thank you so much Thad and Becki!! Jon needed many nice clothes for work and interviews so we found an awesome sale at Old Navy and if I do say so myself, he looks rather handsome all dolled up. We ate at the much loved Wendy's (we never get to eat there... so don't laugh. It was romantic). We had a good time, then the blessings of getting married near a holiday weekend, we both had Monday off (Labor Day) and layed around... all day.
