It's official. I'm 29! One more year to 30, and I'm so happy! I've tried hard with each year to be a better mom, wife, and friend. I've made mistakes, I've done crazy stuff... but all in all, I'm so happy. I'm happy with where the Lord has put me in my life at this time. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful husband- Jon and I have grown together more than ever and I can't imagine my life without him. Jacob and Ian are growing fast as well and I love the wonderful boys they are. I love how different they are and the different strengths they bring to our family. They are such a blessing to be around, and I'm so blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom and watch them grow each day.
I had such an awesome birthday celebration! I grilled some steaks and zucchini, made a salad, and while I was getting dinner finished, Jon took the boys to pick out my delicious birthday cake! Of course they picked out an awesome basketball cake, complete with Portland Blazers plastic rings... haha, Ian has been wearing them all week. We celebrated a little early because the new Beachbody Challenge #TeamTony vs #TeamShaunT started on Monday and I didn't want anything to distract me! The boys had no complaints about that! Ice cream cake? Yes please.
Then Jon and I went on a date to the temple. We had such a great time, and the boys really look forward to having the babysitter over for movie night and treats.

Have I mentioned that I want to be your friend? I seriously am teary eyed right now. I was first thinking about someone else, a Duvall, and got teary eyed about that. Then I read this and just think what a positive loving person you are. I seriously feel like I could just come to your house, sit, and poop as much as I needed too and we could chat, craft, and maybe, just maybe, I'd do some of those burpee things. HAHAHA!!! Happy Birthday, again.
