Ian told me we weren't supposed to hang stockings because we didn't have a fireplace. Well, I jumped on the opportunity and made up a little fireplace. Santa came and filled the stockings! Thank goodness for the fireplace :) The boys loved opening their gifts, and we were so blessed by so many cousins and family that sent gifts for the boys and our entire family. We spent the whole day together inside playing with our new games and enjoying each other's company. I've really learned to fully enjoy the opportunity to spend Christmas with my boys and husband at home. We take our time, open presents one at a time, and relax the whole day. It was wonderful being with my family, I couldn't have asked for more. I surprised Jon with a Traeger BBQ/Smoker and he surprised me with a juicer! I was shocked, and so was he. I love it because neither of us asked for the gift, but it was exactly what we wanted. I guess I'm kind of getting to know him better.
