The weekend before Easter weekend we took our good friend, Suzette, on an awesome hike to Beacon Rock. The boys couldn't wait. It's our favorite place to go on beautiful sunny days.
The boys had their first soccer games of the season Easter weekend, they had such a blast! It was Ian's official first soccer game ever. He couldn't stop jumping around and saluting me as I watched on the s
sidelines. He loved every bit of it.
Jacob's game was right after Ian's, and it POURED. Constant rain for the entire hour. Jacob had a blast! I thought he was going to get upset. Several of his team members refused to play, but I was proud of Jacob for sticking it out! I'm not sure I would have.
After the games we headed to a school close by for a little Easter egg hunt. It lasted about 5 minutes, because the rain came again. The kids were loving/hating it! I was on my third pair of clothes already for the day and was done changing myself and the boys! But, if we didn't do it, we never would. I've learned that we just have to do things in the rain here, especially in the spring!
We have this game that I found on Pinterest, it tells the Easter story with a dozen Easter eggs. Each egg has a different piece with a different symbol inside. It's been our favorite tradition.
