This year was the boys' first 5k! They did FANTASTIC. Jacob kept saying, "THIS IS AWESOME MOM!" I kept looking at them and thinking how proud I was of them and how excited I was that they were with me! Jacob walked almost the entire time, I think I held him twice for about 30 seconds each time. Ian, I held on my shoulders almost the entire time. Either way, I was such a proud mom! I'm so excited to share this part of my life with my boys. We will definitely be doing this again next year.

| We went with a couple of our friends, and the boy in between Jacob and Ian is their friend (his name is also Jesse...) and it was his birthday today! It was so much fun- his mom made him a shirt that said "I turned 6 today!" so many of the runners were wishing him a "Happy Birthday!". |
