On Monday, we went to Fort Vancouver! We've all been wanting to go for a while, since we moved here and Monday came... Jon's day off... and we wanted to something fun, but not with a ton of people, and this turned out to be fantastic! There was only a couple of other people there and we weren't rushed, we could see what we wanted and what the boys wanted to see, and they even got to run around a little bit! We had a blast. The boys loved the cannons the most! We learned a lot too, there were volunteers that had loads of information, but the one thing that I had no idea was that Fort Vancouver was for trading! The boys loved the carpenter the most, and so did I. He was so nice and so talented!!

the boys such a different and interesting part of history. |
