Jacob's Best Buds

A couple of days ago, I made a bow tie for Jacob for church. I really wanted to make one for him for Valentine's Day, so I tried out a blue one first. I finally found something I can make for a boy that he can "wear" that took... about 15 minutes to make. I got the idea from here, and it was a huge hit at church and in nursery. So, I guess now I'm one of Jacob's best buds. :)
For Christmas (and after) Jacob got these stuffed guys. The red guy is from Cathie and the other two my mom got for Jacob later on in a special package we got in the mail. Jacob was SO EXCITED to receive both of these. When we got the package in the mail, Jacob pretty much ripped these two out of the boxes. He now carries around the pink one all the time and sleeps with her too! So funny. The best part was that he would actually sit and pose for the picture with them.Another one of Jacob's best buds is his dad. They both LOVE basketball. I'm amazed at how much Jacob loves to watch the basketball games. Sometimes they even both get the same look (as expressed with Jon in this picture), but Jacob was eating a snack.This is definetely one of Jacob's favorite games and Jon laughs just as much as Jacob does when they play together. Usually he jumps in the large laundry basket, but he found the laundry soap container I had just emptied and jumped right in. I'm so grateful there is never a dull moment here in the Duvall home!
