Jacob now can tell us what sound a dog makes (sticks out his tongue and breathes like a dog), what a horse sounds like (neigh, neigh, but will only do it when he has his toy horse and is prancing it around), and of course, car sounds. He has really fallen in love with his little race cars and plays with them all day long.
Jacob has also become a great dancer! He loves to listen to music, especially in the car and either kicks his feat or bobs his head to the music.
Jacob is learning so much and is becoming a great "reader". He will open up his books and pretend to read like mom and dad do with his jibber jabber. He is also pointing out letters everywhere, not necessarily saying their correct names, but pretending. It is awesome progress and we couldn't be prouder. He's such a blessing in our lives and we can't imagine our lives without him.
The snow is still coming down everyday here in Kalipell. It has warmed up from -3 to around 32 degrees, which has been so nice. The roads are great here, and I'm not as afraid as I used to be to venture out in the snow and ice.
Jon continues to do great at work while Jacob and I stay at home doing homemaking things. I've learned a lot about sewing and have come to really enjoy it, theraputically. Along with making new recipes and playing many new games with Jacob, I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to enjoy his growth and be a stay at home mom.
