LOVE this shirt. Aunt Dakota gave it to Jacob when we were visiting, and I love it on him. Official Present Opener. He's already proven this to be true more than once this week.

Before I get to the crazy stuff, Jacob and I built a fort in the living room the other day because it was so cold outside. Jacob LOVED it! He would crawl back and forth in and out of it. Chairs, cushions, and blankets. Oh wait, and scary stuffed bears for the cave right? I love having a boy. It was so fun!
Now onto the real exciting stuff....

Yep... that pretty much explains the sitting on Santa's lap thing. I even tried holding him on my lap so that Santa could still talk to him and bribed him with the candy, haha... and I just noticed Santa's awesome cowboy boots. We had a ton of fun though. Jacob did too... before I made him sit on Santa's lap. Our ward put on a "Breakfast With Santa" night and we ate breakfast and enjoyed one another's company. It was a lot of fun. Jacob has really fallen in love with our ward, because there are several kids his age and a several younger than him. I've recently noticed that my son is a leader... good and bad. If you see all that red stringy decoration stuff he has in his hand, he wasn't the only one, but he was the first one. They had it all over the piano for decorations, and Jacob went over and just started ripping it off of the piano, right after he did that, a little boy probably three months or so younger than Jacob walked over and started ripping it off and then handing it to Jacob.

Jacob's new little buddy. Look at that face... pure joy in destruction. Such boys.

Boys will be Boys!!! Haha. I love the fort. Making forts on a cold day is the best thing to do in my book. What creativity to put a bear in there too! I love it!
What's the first thing I notice about these pictures? Amy has lovely red fingernails... :) Sweeeeeet.
Haha!! That's so funny Cindy! This is the first time I've painted my nails in a LONG time, so funny you noticed it. It's such a small picture.
Cute!!! My kids both hated Santa at the age, too. It will get better, I promise!! Karlee was the first at our ward party to play with the tinsil, as well!! :)
