It's Christmas Time!

 

 

Saturday was our ward Christmas party! It was great! After a couple weeks and lots of hours of planning I can't believe it is over. The boys had a great time, especially when we all started singing Christmas carols and when Santa came out! Jacob asked for the game, "Pop The Pig" and Ian said he asked for "candy". These two boys couldn't be more adorable. I love how the Christmas spirit has really shown with the boys this year, Jacob is understanding a little more and more. Ian is just excited that he knows presents and candy are coming. Either way, the Christmas spirit is everywhere here! We've had the place decorated since the day after Thanksgiving, we've been singing Christmas songs ever since as well. This year is probably the first year I've been super dedicated to decorating and teaching the boys about the birth of Christ. It has been so fun to watch the boys play with our little nativities and be so careful with the baby Jesus. Ian tells me how cute the baby Jesus is every day. We've been doing this scripture chain countdown each night as a family and it has really brought the true meaning of Christmas into our home.
