Day one started with the annual 8th ward Fourth of July breakfast!! The boys loved having as much sausage and pancakes as their little tummies could hold.
After breakfast we headed over to Cathie's to sort out the fireworks! In our home... the Fourth of July planning starts the day after the Fourth of July- for the next year! It is our favorite holiday, and I love seeing the boys (including Jon) light up when they go through them!
After going through the fireworks- we headed to the Thad and Becki Duvall home for an AMAZING BBQ! I ate so much... it was so worth it!
After being in Wenatchee with all of Jon's brothers and their families- we headed over and met all the family at the Stake Center for pictures!! It was fun just mingling and hanging out with everyone while we waited for the fireworks to start. One of the things that I love the most about being a part of the Duvall family is that they are so welcoming to having my parents come and hang out whenever we're having a get together.
Two of the best of buddies! Even today Ian came up to me saying, "Papa... papa..." with a big sad face! He LOVES his papa.
