Day two was filled with so many fun things! The day started off with a pancake competition. I had to bring my blender of course... and make some green smoothies! To my surprise, lots of people wanted some- which I wasn't prepared for- because I didn't bring enough fruit and veggies! But I was so excited that everyone loved them that tried them! Grandpa T's pancakes were awesome... the boys downed them. After breakfast, the kids were all running around, once I found Jacob I noticed he had a huge rash all up and down his front and back. We still aren't positive what it was from, but I'm assuming it was a type of heat rash.
The group had planned to go to the aquatic center in Moses Lake after the breakfast, but we decided that Jacob needed some time out of the sun. So, we went back to my parent's house and relaxed for a little bit while the boys took a nap. We then met up again with the group when we were scheduled for some time at the Rec Center for some batting cages and other games. We had such a great time.
Unfortunately, we had to end the reunion too soon :( that night Jacob started throwing up and had bad diarrhea. Then, it slowly spread through Ian, me, and Jon. Even though we weren't feeling 100% better, Jon and I headed to Tri-Cities for a temple trip date. It was great, and I just love being able to be with my eternal companion in the temple.
Luckily!!! My parents didn't get it- because in the next couple of days we were headed to the Redford Reunion.
Loving the smoothies!
