Warm Weather, Hikes, and Parks

The past four days we've had some amazing weather! We went on two hikes and went to two different parks. We had so much fun enjoying the sun. I also got to get to know a couple more women from the ward, and that has been so great as well!

This is the bridge at the end of Lacamas Creek Trail. We love this hike, but Ian hates the bridge!
The waterfall underneath it is super loud and the water is rushing really fast.

These are our friends, Charlotte, Megan, and Jesse.
The next day we went on another trail. We call it
The Bridge Trail. There's a HUGE bridge that goes
over the Washougal River, and the boys love it!
These are Jacob and Ian's buddies. Everett and Liam.

Throwing rocks in the river on our way back.

Then on the THIRD beautiful day (seriously... these are all in a row!!) we went
to a park that goes around Lacamas Lake. It has an amazing trail and they just got
a brand new play area.

Throwing food to the ducks.

And... skipping out on feeding the ducks, feeding ourselves is more fun...
and more rewarding :)

Ok, our LAST sunny day was yesterday and we went to Goot Park.
I LOVE this park. Always have. It is clean, there are great bathrooms,
and the boys love the slides. Ian braved it all this time and did the slide
on his own! I was busy talking and up he went, then down he went. It was
all over by then, he was an addict.

Love my boys!

THEN... it rained. :) And, we're back to normal. Which
is great for today! Jacob fell asleep at 5:30 (THANKFULLY, the time
change will make it so he actually kind of fell asleep at 6:30) so we
took him to bed. Both boys were beyond cranky today, we have just been going
like crazy all week!
