Potty Talk.
Yesterday at church, Jacob's Sunbeam teacher came into Relief Society to get me because Jacob was having a hard time on the toilet... which is not unusual. I knew something was going to happen because I had been trying the night before and that morning to get him to go so we didn't have issues at church. His teacher is so incredibly sweet though, so I came in, and he pooped! Then he peed a little bit and said, "Mom! It's like a pattern... poop, pee, poop, pee!" And to top it all off, there were two other people in the bathroom... then he says, "Whoa... mom, that poop is taller than daddy, taller than you, taller than Ian!!!" And, he was yelling this, no one in the bathroom was laughing either!! It was hilarious. Jacob is such a sweetheart though too... because every time he is on the toilet and I'm in there giving him moral support... he feels the need to talk to me, and usually it's compliments. At church he told me I had really pretty blue eyes. Most of the time he tells me how cool my shirt is. I love this boy and the creative, smart kid he is turning into. I hope he never loses that ability to make others feel important. Thad, Becki, and Emily came to visit on Saturday while they were on this side of the state and right when Emily walks in Jacob says, "Emily, I love your glasses!" He's such a genuine lovable kid. We had an awesome time visiting with them, and are so excited for the reunion to see everyone this summer!
