Before I Forget...

The other day I decided to put the boys' beds back together in the same room and turn the second room into a toy room for them to play. I was having a hard time with all the toys and clutter downstairs and this has solved so many problems! Anyway, I woke up to Jacob talking to Ian, Ian talking back to Jacob, laughing, giggling, and I walked into their room to find this. Jacob wanted to share all his toy food (one of his most prized posessions!) with Ian and put them all in his crib, since he couldn't get Ian out, he jumped in with Ian.
Jon has been out of town for the weekend and I've been getting some nice "me" time in the evenings, putting the boys to bed early and catching up with my DVR recordings. Last night the boys went to bed a little later than normal, we had a crazy day and it took them a little longer to relax in the evening. I put them up to bed in their room. Ian started jumping in his crib, Jacob kept telling him, "Stop jumping!" Ian would laugh so hard, then Jacob would laugh and say, "Stop jumping!" Again... this went on for a little while, but they were both laughing so hard! It's times like these that help me to carry on! Don't get me wrong, these guys fight almost all day long, every single little thing sets them off, so to have these sweet little moments recorded allows for those "other times" to not matter so much anymore.

That is hilarious! Don't you love the small moments where your kids act like they might actually like each other? I love it. It makes all the fighting and craziness they cause worth it. Your boys are so cute.. as always!
