Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend went by way too fast! My mom and dad came and stayed from Wednesday until Sunday! It was so much fun to have them over for so long. My mom and I got some amazing workouts, shopping, and sewing done together! She is truly my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without her. Jacob and Ian had so much fun wrestling and playing with Papa as well. On Thursday David and Cindy came to play too! We all had Thanksgiving dinner together and it turned out so perfect. Thanksgiving morning my mom and I did a 5k! We did it in 45 minutes, which was a little more than 7 minutes faster than last year. My strength and endurance has grown a lot since I've been taking better care of myself and doing this second 5k really proved it. It was a lot more fun doing it with someone too!

After the 5k we headed back home to get the rest of our grub ready. We cooked our turkey slow and low this year and it was AMAZING!! Seriously, the best turkey we've every tasted.

The boys had so much fun playing with Uncle David, giggling and laughing with Aunt Cindy, and loving on Grandma and Papa. It was so nice to have a relaxing, family filled Thanksgiving this year with lots of new traditions!

RASPBERRIES!

That night my mom and I went to walmart to get some of our Black Friday deals we wanted. It... was INSANE!! There were so many people we couldn't park in the parking lot at all, we had to park at Starbucks which is way in the back! We got there at the right time though, because after we were done (at about 11:30, amazing time because we cheated and checked out at the jewelry center!) The police, fire department, and ambulance were there along with a gigantic line. They weren't allowing any more people in there because of the fire code.

Then, on Saturday, we got our Christmas tree! We were so lucky... because there was a tree lot right across from our house! We picked out the perfect tree, the boys helped decorate it, and the night before... my mom helped me make a tree skirt!
