Jacob woke up this morning with another dry diaper. Third one in a row! Right on! He will wake up in the middle of the night and come into our room, whine and whine... until I ask him if he needs to go to the bathroom, we go, then he sleeps all night long. Yesterday after about three days of holding #2, he finally went. It is a struggle with him, he'll hold it until I sit him on there and sit in front of him coaching him to push... seriously sometimes I feel like I'm talking to a pregnant lady... anyway, he finally went and every time he goes, he tells everyone in the house, "I went potty on the toilet!!" But, yesterday he wanted to call grandma on the phone to tell her. It was so sweet and I'm so proud of him! He's going to be three in less than a month, and our goal was to be potty trained before three, so happy it's working out this time.
Ian had his first bloody fall this past week and has a big nasty scab to prove it. Ian loves doors... any time a door is open he crawls as fast as he can to get through it. I left open the sliding door to the backyard (he also LOVES to be outside) while I was BBQ-ing and he tried to crawl out and fell out instead, he cried for about a minute, he bled for a little bit, but not even 5 minutes later, he was trying to crawl back out again.

Every time I start doing dishes, Ian crawls as fast as he can to get up on the dishwasher.
I remember Jacob being the same way, maybe I can start training them now to love
washing them... hm... |

| I love his open mouthed smiles, cracks me up. |

Ian and Daddy sharing a snack. When Jon is home, Ian is his little shadow. He will do
anything to follow his daddy around. |
