We attempted to go to Mt. St. Helens today, but it turned out it was blocked off to get there, but we made it part way and found a picnic site. So... we stopped, had a picnic, and explored a little bit. There was plenty to see along the way. The creeks and Lewis River were breathtaking and there were lots of beautiful trees as well. We were only gone for about 4 hours... so it was a great quick trip. We love being so close to such beauty and having the opportunities to explore it. Jacob was being "camera shy" so these are mostly of Ian!
