After watching the Relief Society Conference last night, I decided to make a special post each week reflecting on my blessings. Not only am I going to be trying much harder to do my VT with a smile, reading my scriptures each morning, and focusing on my personal prayers, I wanted to share the many things that I'm grateful for. It was mentioned so many times that in order to forget yourself and your own worries, you need to serve others and make sure you're doing the things you need to be: Scripture Study, Prayer, and Obedience.
This week has been full of ups and downs for us. Jacob is growing so fast and is such a great helper with Ian and other things around the house. Ian is 12 pounds now and is growing like a champ as well. He's in 3-6 month clothes already and is smiling all the time.
But what I really want to focus on for this Sunday post is how grateful I am for having an eternal companion and best friend in my life. He works hard to be a dad and a provider for our family and his relationship with Jacob has really blossomed. They have become two best buds and it makes my heart swell, seeing them cuddle up on the couch to watch a movie together.
