Pumpkin Carving!

Jacob and I finally got around to carving a pumpkin... today. The day before Halloween. We'll keep it out for at least a week... maybe until Thanksgiving... just kidding. Jacob loved it! He especially loved playing with the seeds and guts. We picked out and found a perfect pumpkin at Smith's. They were super cheap, which made me super excited to get one! We haven't lit it up yet, but we will for Halloween. I'm so excited to put Jacob in his costume. Pictures to come. I wanted to break these two posts up, because I know tomorrow I'll have a ton of pictures that I'll want to share. We're really enjoying Kalispell. Thanks to our awesome neighbors, they've become great friends and it's made the move a lot easier. We also got a webcam, which has been great! Jacob loved talking to grandma and grandpa on the computer today. It was really cute, he couldn't stop smiling, then he kept kissing the keyboard?... weird, but adorable. He's just a kissing monster I guess.
Before carving. Jacob loves pumpkins, no matter where we go if he sees a pumpkin at the grocery store, or anything resembling a pumpkin, he points and jibber jabbers. Playing with the guts and seeds. Soon we'll roast these suckers. Yummy!Afterwards, the finished product (without candles). A little goofy, but what do you expect?
The finale. Jacob... kissing the pumpkin.
