Our New Place!

Well, we're in our new place in Montana! I can't believe we're here. It feels like we're just visiting and that we'll go back home soon. Jacob really loves his new room. When we first walked inside, Jacob started dancing and twirling around, then ran down the hall, like he had been here many times before and sat on the floor in his room. We didn't even have any furniture or anything in there. It was so funny. Thanks to my dad and Jon-Jon, we made it all here with one big load. We really miss all the family from home, but we really like our ward here and we're really excited to participate in everything and go to the trunk-or-treat this Saturday! When we were unloading, Jacob wanted to sit down with grandpa, so I ran and got my camera and this is what Jacob did when he saw me coming back! He wanted to give grandpa a big kissThis is our view of the mountains in town! Isn't it beautiful? It hasn't snowed since I've been here, but it has rained every single day.On Saturday we went on a road trip past Hungry Horse up into the mountain. It was about a two hour drive up a bumpy dirt/muddy road. The ride back was a lot faster and only took about an hour and a half. On the way back down we saw a big female moose and two white tailed deer! They were right in the middle of the road. The moose just walked off the road, but we almost hit the deer, because they darted right in front of the truck from out of the trees. Here's a really pretty canyon that we saw on the way back down the mountain. Jacob loved all the rocks on the trail. He almost had to pick up and show us every big rock he found.

Finally, this is Jacob with the dishwasher tray, he loves it! Everytime I try to do dishes, he grabs it out and carries it around the house. Oh, yeah, did I forget to mention that WE HAVE A DISHWASHER!!!??? I'm really excited about that, if you can't tell. :)

Dishwashers are the best appliance invention EVER. However, I will admit that I HATE to unload it. David hates to load it and doesn't do a very good job loading it anyway. So, we've made a compromise: I'll do all the loading as long as he unloads it. The only problem we have is that someone, who shall remain anonymous, is not very good about unloading it and so the dishes start to stack up at the sink until someone else, who shall also remain anonymous, throws a screaming fit until the other said anonymous party sheepishly runs to the kitchen to unload it while muttering under his breath that it has only been three days and that he doesn't see what the big deal is...

So happy that you finally have a dishwasher! You deserve it!!! :)

Looks like a beautiful place. That drive into town looks just like Utah!

I'm so glad you're happy and settling. Would love to see a picture of your place when you get a chance!

Oh! And that picture of Jacob showing you the rocks is precious!

And can I use any more exclamation points in one post?! :)

I cannot express in words the joy I felt when I saw your beautiful place to live...how I envy you. I miss my Oregon and all the trees and mountains and rivers close by. I wish you all the blessings of your new place on this earth. I know you will love it there. I had family live in Missoula back in the early 1900's. I shall miss you bunches. You are an adorable couple with the sweetest little boy. Life could not be better for you...you deserve all of this. God bless you all. Hugs..Deanna Hirz

Yeah, you made it. Isn't moving exhausting! You will love living in Montana, but as a fellow resident of that great state trust me...that snow is headed your way. Bundle up.
