Christmas Day

What a WONDERFUL day!! Jon woke everyone up this morning to open presents :) and we all rushed down the stairs to find gifts from Santa... wrapped in red paper... with strawberries! (Jacob's request, thank you Santa!) They both cracked us up all morning with the constant *gasps* made over everything! Jacob got his umbrella from Santa and Ian got his dinosaurs. We told Jacob to give Ian a hug by the tree, and instead they decided to kiss... perfect that he had his umbrella right?! Haha!

We also had an amazing sacrament meeting at church. Songs of Christ were sung with so much beauty and spirit, and then we were able to hear from two speakers, of service, love, and charity for Christ. This time of year is amazing and being able to teach the boys the true meaning of Christmas means so much to Jon and I. When we got to church, there was a program with a picture of baby Jesus, Mary, and Joseph... I turned to Jacob and asked who it was and he said, "Mom! That's baby Jesus, he's so cute! And Mary, and Joseth." I've been so proud and amazed how much Jacob has grown and learned, and I feel so blessed to be his mom and to be able to teach him these important things in life.
