Vancouver Water Fountains!

This past week Thad had a couple of meetings in Vancouver, WA. We were psyched, because we love it when family visits! He came to dinner on Tuesday night and then on Wednesday I took the boys to visit him. There was this amazing park right across the street from his hotel. It had some fun water fountains and a great park area for the kids to play.

Jacob thought he was such a big boy climbing the slide like all the other kids!

I crack up at this picture! I love that Thad is making that face. He loves seeing the boys and always plays with them whenever they get together.

Whenever Ian walks now he holds his right hand up to his head and either holds his ear,

I was a bit bummed that this picture came out blurry... he was so excited that he found a leaf and was rushing over to hand it to me. Melted my heart...

Ok... there is a story behind this kid... good grief! It took us so long to get this kid in the water. Thad and I tried and tried, then finally I just picked him up and walked through it with him. At first he screamed at me, then he started laughing... and THEN he wanted down to run in it! It then took forever to get him OUT of it! Jacob doesn't love water... but he loved this, probably because it was so shallow and super fun to run through!

Jacob kept pretending to taste the water... each time he did it, Thad would say, "Ew! YUCK!!" In a voice that made Jacob laugh so hard... so he did it over, and over, and over again. We had SO MUCH FUN! Thanks for visiting Thad! It was short, but loads of fun.
