November!

Jacob, Ian, and I went on a trip this month to Utah for about five days. We drove the 11+ hours to Spanish Fork and back, visited family in Lehi, stopped at a friend's house in Rexburg, took lots of pictures, made our own Thanksgiving dinner, dined as a family, hung our lights and mini tree in our small apartment, played in lots of snow (pictures to come)... and learned LOTS of fun stuff!....
1. Jacob and Ian love Grandpa.

2. Aunt Dakota has a nice lap for sitting.

3. Jacob learned how to drive.

4. Ian learned how to carry on a conversation about marshmallow guns.

5. How to carry a purse.

6. Mini golf!

7. That taking pictures with mom really isn't that bad...

8. That... we really do love to see the temple. (Rexburg, ID)

9. When you smile for the camera... it really does make mom's day.

10. Tower building can be with anything.

11. Sleeping can be on anything. Especially after a hard days work of tower building.

12. That thumb sucking comes naturally.
13. That you don't actually have to get up at 3 AM to go to Wal-Mart in Kalispell on Black Friday to get the laptop you want... we slept in until 9, I took the boys to Wal-Mart with me, and bam... we got the printer and laptop we needed.
14. That you really do need to follow the directions when making gravy...
15. You can use butter flavored Pam cooking spray on your turkey instead of butter and the skin looks and tastes amazing, leaving the meat super juicy and tender.
16. Jon really is amazing at hanging Christmas lights.
17. I've never seen prettier snow fall than here in Montana, when it's not a blizzard.

All-in-all we've been so blessed. So blessed that Jon has a job, and that he is transferring to a location that he is really excited about... yes, we are moving... again! Sometime in January we will be making the trip to Oregon to live in the Portland/Vancouver area.

They have recently gotton rid of the position that Jon works in other places in the country, and when Jon leaves, his current job will be put to part time. We feel so blessed to be able to go somewhere close to family/friends and at a time where Jon isn't forced to transfer somewhere, scrambeling for a place to go because he has no other alternative.

Yay, Awesome that things are working out for you guys. It's cool you got to experience life on your own but glad you won't have to miss your Mommy so much. Portland is definately a doable drive. Congrats on the Thanksgiving dinner too, I'm impressed.
