We're Alive! And moved.

Well, we found some internet... :) Yay! We got back from our trip to Washington (for my brother's wedding) moved into an apartment, played at the lake, played at the park, are almost over lots of sickness, and are so ready for a new fresh week.
Jacob got his first ear infection this week along with two pink eyes, a cough, stomach flu, runny nose, diarhea, and I think that's it... this week. Needless to say... no one has slept much this week. But, after a doctor visit, some anti-biotics and ibuprofen we're all feeling better and catching up on sleep today. Thank goodness for Sundays right?
Here are just a couple of pictures from the wedding, I was so lucky to be able to be the photographer and catch some of these special moments. It was such a beautiful day!
Five and a half years ago, we were sealed in the same temple. It was so beautiful to go back into the same sealing room and see my little brother and his wife be sealed for all eternity.
Happy eternal family!

The only thing Jacob would eat for a couple of days while he had his sore throat was ice cream. So, we got some at the grocery store... along with ice cream cones of course, and since the weather has been AMAZING (seriously, in the 70's!!) we ate it on the front porch of the apartment building. And, since Jacob was so happy, this is the first picture I've ever gotton of him smiling after I've said, "Cheese!" All of the other people that live in the apartment, adore this little man. He says, "hi" to everyone and they all think he is so cute. He is the only kid in the building, and everyone is around our age. This is our mailbox... it takes about fifteen minutes to get the mail when I take Jacob with me because he has to check every lock with my keys that he can reach and see if he can open them.
Here's my poor boy with his pink eyes. You can't really tell because he kept blinking or squinting when I was trying to take a picture, but his eyes were sure swollen. Goop everywhere, thank goodness for insurance and anti-biotics.

Congratulations to your brother on his wedding, that is so wonderful! But I'm sorry to hear that poor little Jacob was so sick...I'm happy that he's on the mend now, though. Sick kids are hard to be around, I always feel soo bad.

Love you guys!

So happy for an update. The wedding looked beautiful! Sounds like you're enjoying your new place. And I'm so sorry you've all been sick--especially little Jacob. He looks miserable!

Miss you!
