Jon, Jacob, and I went up past Leavenworth on Memorial Day. It was so beautiful, and there was still a bunch of snow on the mountains. We had planned on taking a hike, but there was too much snow, and it covered the path. We drove about two and a half hours and it was so worth it. The mountain was beautiful, Jacob was ecstatic, and it was fun to be together and not talk about homework or drama. Jon has been studying so hard lately, trying to tie up all the lose ends with homework and projects that we really needed this break. Leavenworth was incredibly PACKED so we just drove through and enjoyed the scenery there. I think Jacob was most excited to see the snow again, he couldn't stop screaming and laughing, it was kind of weird... but adorable.

HOW FUN!! I love Leavenworth. Thanks again for telling us about the cool Ranch there that we stayed at! I so want to go back there someday for our anniversary or something. That area is soo pretty!! Jacob is adorable as always and growing up way too fast! I can't believe he's already almost a year old. where the heck does the time go??
