Easter rundown

This year was Jacob's first Easter and... really the first Easter that Jon and I have actually celebrated (with the baskets and such). Jacob still isn't really old enough for an Easter Egg Hunt, so we skipped that part, but we did get an Easter picture Sunday morning in our dress up clothes! Jacob got some new sippy cups, bath toys, and lots of fun things from Grandma Jo (a bunny, an egg coloring kit, a care bear, race cars, and candy)! Jon got a deep fryer (since we have been home from Utah that's all he has wanted, and Dakota's sweet and sour chicken), and the movie King Kong and Spiderman 1 and 2... we got Spiderman 3 like six months ago and wanted the others, so I found them for 5 bucks at wal-mart woo hoo! We had a lot of fun. We went out to eat with mom, dad, and grandpa Saturday night and had a lot of fun. Jacob kept dad really entertained, they were throwing things across the table to each other, playing with the napkins, and talking jibber jabber the whole night. I don't know who had more fun, dad or Jacob. Sunday we had a great time at church and nursery. I feel so blessed to have the knowledge that I know who I am and that I am a daughter of God, and that I am able to live for eternity with my family because of Jesus Christ. It was a great sacrament meeting, even following Jacob around the halls while he crawled and shouted for joy, but we came back in and it was such a relaxing feeling to be able to have my husband sitting next to me at church and knowing that God lives and knows me by name and loves me and my family, and that He provided repentance so that we would have that opportunity to return to Him again as an eternal family.
