Whoever is bitten by a werewolf and lives becomes a werewolf himself.

Jacob's 1st Halloween! It was a blast. Jacob was so adorable in his skunk costume, and he was so great when we were walking around trick-or-treating. The high school here decorates the rooms so that families can come trick-or-treating around safely in our community. It was so much fun, lots of crazy people, but lots of fun. I haven't been trick-or-treating in years, so it was fun for me too, since I was the one saying "trick-or-treat... smell my feet." Not many of the high schoolers thought that was funny... but deep inside, I know Jacob was laughing with me... :) I remember dressing up for Halloween... from being a chocolate M&M to a "Bag o' Fun" (I was in a garbage back with words saying, "Bag O' Fun" on the bag, with my head popping out). I hope to carry on this fun holiday with my kids for years to come... well, at least until I am a little too embarassing for them to handle.

AH!!!

Here's Jacob and some creepy kid. He worked there for Halloween, so he was really good at playing his part. He reminded me of that guy on Hocus Pocus... the mummy that gets his mouth sewn shut? Remember? Eek.

The whole night, Jacob was just chillin in the stroller. Watching people go by. He didn't even smile, he was very zoned out.

The tail of the skunk outfit didn't allow Jacob to fit in his carseat, so I had to put him in without it. AND, because it was to hot of a costume... I couldn't put a shirt on him underneath. On the way home, Jacob fell asleep. Needless to say, he was grumpy when we were done trick-or-treating.

His costume is so cute! And that kid was creepy. I'd be saying, "Get away from my kid, you freak! Can't you see you're scaring him?!" I hate the scariness of Halloween. Why can't it be all fun and games?!

Okay, enough of my soapbox. I love Jacob's grumpy face at the end. You were so good to catch it!!! And once again, adorable costume!

I love keeping the camera in the diaper bag, so it's wherever Jacob is. Even when I leave him with a sitter. I make sure that whoever is watching him, knows that they can take as many pictures as they want. I love the grumpy face one too! haha, it makes me laugh.
