Labor Day/Anniversary Weekend Day 1!

 Jon took Saturday off so that we could have some family time together for our anniversary this year. Right when we were all up, we jumped in the car and drove to Tillamook to have some cheese. It was a lot of fun. The boys really loved seeing the cheese on the belts and get packaged up. The cheese samples were pretty good, suprisingly... Jacob refused to eat any! Ian had a couple samples, but Jacob is in love with cheese normally!! We got a couple of postcards and Jon got some of his favorite pinuchi fudge for the ride home.

 After the factory, we really wanted to take the boys to the beach for a little bit. We decided on Rockaway beach, it was pretty close to the factory, so it was perfect! It was beautiful. The best experience I've had on the Oregon Coast. Ian wasn't feeling too good, he had a nasty runny nose and was really tired.... and it didn't help that he face planted into a wave and got covered in sand... so we only stayed a couple of hours. If I had packed more  clothes and some food, we would have stayed all day long. Jon really loved it too, and it brought back a lot of memories of when he used to go to the beach every day when they lived in Lincoln City.

On our way to the beach, we had to walk on this path and Jacob
said, "mom, we're in the jungle!" It was so funny!

We loved these huge rocks out in the water. So beautiful!
