What Winter Wonderland?

Well, it hasn't snowed yet, and half of my family is sad about it and the other half is rejoicing. Can you guess which is which? Well, if you can't Jon's side of the family is in LOVE with snow. Jon goes on little fun rides (and takes us along) to see the snow. He loves it. I'm torn. I think it's beautiful and fun to play in and I do love to cuddle and be cozy. But, I HATE driving in it. I hate that I have no control while driving and the fact that you have to drive super slow. It's funny, Jon's the complete opposite. He loves to drive in it. He loves everything about the stuff. We'll see how Jacob takes to it... will he be more a Redford or a Duvall? But even though it hasn't snowed yet, the sunrises are breathtaking here and I have no complaints!

My Duvall is not a fan of snow, so perhaps Jacob will not be cursed with the love of the vile white fluffy stuff either. I do not mind it in the mountains, but I hate it on the streets. Even with all-wheel drive, I hate driving in it because of all the maniacs on the road!!

So I thought I already left a comment on this one, I must not have hit the right button or something. Anyway, I was going to leave another comment because we had to change our blog address. Looong story. Maybe I will leave that for the next comment. New address is nottheonlyredfords.blogspot.com
Oh and I'm with you on the snow thing and about the comment you left on ours-we have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I guess we will see if they like to leave their marks on a real tree. Never have on the fake-Thank goodness! :)

Hi Amy & Jon!
I didn't know you had a blog! It's awesome to be able to see what you are up to. I can't believe how big Jacob is. He is SUCH as cutey! My comment on snow would be - moderation in all things. I always look forward to it at first in November, but by April it gets really old. Yesterday, we had a few inches of snow fall over a couple other layers of ice and snow - kept rush hour stalled for over 4 hrs and I couldn't make it up a hill in my car yesterady going to a church function - I looked like an idiot! We can't use studs on our tires or anything else - so you just hope you make it alive through the daily commute. I would definitely trade snow for pretty sunsets and milder weather! I miss you guys! JC & I are going to try and make it out to WA this March during his Spring Break. I love you all!
